There have been reports of a problem with the ISO 9660 extension versions 5.0 thru 5.0.1,  relating to reading ISO 9660 CD-ROM directories properly and the ability to read text files correctly.  In general, ISO 9660 CD-ROMs should work like any other Macintosh volume.

Version 5.0.2. of the ISO 9660 extension corrects the problem and is fully compatible with versions 5.0 and 5.0.1 of CD Setup.

Version 5.0.2. of the ISO 9660 extension is included with System Software 7.5, but is being made available here to customers that might still be using versions 5.0 or 5.0.1 of CD Setup.

The enclosed extension file name should be "ISO 9660 File Access".
