This patcher application will update AppleShare from 4.2.1
to 4.2.2. Some third party applications and control panels
have been found to change the modification dates of certain
files to the current date even though no changes have been
made to the file.

decompresses it).

AppleShare 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 Note

With AppleShare 4.2.1, the modification date of a file can
change, even if a file has read-only access. If this occurs,
no modifications are made to the actual data in the file.
The change is being made by the server, not the client
workstation or the application. AppleShare 4.2.2 resolves
this issue with third party software incorrectly changing
the modification dates of certain files. This patcher
application will update AppleShare 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 and
prevent this problem from occurring. Apple recommends that
AppleShare 4.2.1 customers install this patch.
