Requires:
Ethernet or other network of similar performance, a Mac OS-based
computer with at least 8 MB of RAM, a monitor with a minimum resolution
of 640 x 480, Mac OS version 7.6.1 or later, at least 2 MB of free space
on the computer's hard disk

Client workstations require a Mac OS-based computer with at least 4 MB
of RAM, Mac OS version 7.1 or later, and at least 1 MB of free space on
the workstation's hard disk

You cannot use Network Assistant on a Macintosh Plus, Macintosh SE,
Macintosh Classic, or Macintosh Portable computer.

Description:
Apple Network Assistant is software that helps you manage Mac OS
workstations on a network and work with other users on the network. 
Using Network Assistant, you can
* create reports about workstation hardware, software installed on
  workstations, and the performance of the network,
* maintain the software on workstations
* shut down and restart workstations
* change system settings on workstations
* interact with workstation users by exchanging text messages, observing
  and controlling workstation screens, and sharing a workstation screen
  with other workstations.

Instructions:
This software consists of a self-mounting Disk Copy compressed image
(.smi) file. Download this software to your hard drive and then
double-click it to use it. You do not need Disk Copy to access .smi
files.

The Apple Network Assistant 3.5 Trial Version is installed in the same
way as Network Assistant 3.5.  Please see the instructions for
installation in the Network Assistant 3.5 Read Me below and in Chapter 2
of the Network Assistant 3.5 User's Manual.

Other Info:
This trial version of Network Assistant 3.5 has the same features as the
full version of Network Assistant. However, it can only be used for a
maximum of 30 days after it is installed.

NOTE:  The full version of Network Assistant 3.5 also contains Adobe
Acrobat Reader and Mac OS 7.6.1.  These are not included with the trial
version in order to decrease download time from the web.

IMPORTANT: This is a trial version of Network Assistant.  It is intended
for evaluation purposes only - it is not intended for production
purposes.  Technical support is NOT available for this version.
