ClarisWorks 5.0 - Disk 3 of 9

A batch of disks for ClarisWorks 5.0 (Macintosh) were distributed where
Disk 3 had the contents of Disk 4 by accident. If you have one of these
disk sets, you can download an image of DIsk 3 from our web site, and
use it to restore the proper contents of floppy disk #3.


Note: This image requires the Disk Copy utility by Apple Computer. The
latest version as of this writing is Disk Copy 6.1.3 and can be found on
the Apple Web site at:

Brief overview of how to use Disk Copy 6.1.3

DESCRIPTION
Disk Copy is a utility application that will allow you to make exact,
verified copies of original floppy disks from a disk image file. The
information in the disk image file is compressed, but is otherwise an
exact copy of the original disk.

REQUIREMENTS
¥Mac OS 7.0.1 or later
¥A Macintosh or Mac OS compatible computer with a 1.4 MB floppy drive.
This includes all PowerPC computers, all Performa computers, all LC
series computers, all Centris and Quadra series computers, and all
PowerBook computers equipped with a floppy drive. Macintosh computer
models that do not have this size floppy drive include the Mac 128, Mac
512, Mac Plus, some Mac SE and some Mac II series computers. If youÕre
uncertain, see the manual that came with your computer for more
information.

To make a floppy from a disk image
1.  Make sure you have enough 1.4 meg floppy disks at hand to make a
complete set of disks. Each disk image file will require a separate
floppy disk.

2.  Quit all open applications and start Disk Copy.

3.  Choose ÒMake a Floppy...Ó from the Utilities menu and select the
first disk image file. Disk Copy verifies the disk image file to ensure
that it is not corrupted.

4.  When prompted, insert a 1.4 MB floppy disk. Disk Copy shows a dialog
box asking you to confirm that you want to erase everything on the
floppy disk. Click OK. Disk Copy finishes and verifies the new
information on the floppy disk.

5.  Write the name of the disk on a label and affix it to the disk. Do
not rename the disk on the computer. Disk Copy will properly name the
disk.

6.  Choose ÒMake a Floppy...Ó from the Utilities menu and select the
next disk image file. Repeat this process until all of the new floppies
have been made.

NOTE
If you have a PowerBook computer with a removable or separate floppy
drive, youÕll need to make sure that the floppy drive is connected and
available before attempting to make a floppy with Disk Copy.
