GeoPort Updater Read Me What is the GeoPort Updater The GeoPort Updater improves ring detection on incoming calls for Europe, Australia and New Zealand only. It is not required for (and has no effect in) the USA, Canada and Japan. It is an update to the 'GeoPort Telecom Adapter' file only, and does not update or affect any other files. Installing the GeoPort Updater 1. First install the Apple Telecom 3.0 or 3.0.x software (unless it is already installed) according to the instructions in the guide Getting Started With Apple Telecom. 2. Insert the GeoPort Updater disk into your disk drive, then double-click the Installer icon. 3. Follow the onscreen instructions for installing the GeoPort Updater software.
